PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric sensor capable of stably detecting feature amounts of objects to be detected at high speed. SOLUTION: The photoelectric sensor of this invention detects feature amounts of objects to be detected by receiving reflected light of light projected to the objects to be detected of a region to be detected. Processing in RUN mode of this invention is of a light projection and reception system in which white light is projected to an object to be detected, and its reflected light is received in parallel on red, green, and blue colors. Its measuring time is short. In a conventional system, since red, green, and blue light sources are each sequentially lighted up to sequentially receive and process their reflected light, its measuring time has been long.
