The carrier (H) has a clamping mechanism (K) for clamping a ball head (KK) between a ball housing and a furcated bearing seat (L) encompassing a clutch neck of a towing device (AK). The bearing seat is made of an extruded section piece. A hemispherical recess is aligned on geometry of the ball head and attached at the center of the extruded section piece. Another recess is aligned on the outer diameter of the clutch neck underneath the ball head. The latter recess extends from a front side of the extruded section piece to the former recess.
