The device (1) has a seat equipment (2) with a seating surface arranged at a frame (4), where the seat equipment comprises two seat flanks (5). A flank surface (3) forms a part of a horizontal seat surface in a lockable insertion position of the seat equipment. The seat flanks are swivelable in a direction of a position in which the flank surface is vertically arranged, where the position is an idle position. Each of the seat flanks is swivelable around a swivelable axis (6).
