BACK LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A backlight assembly and a display device having the same are provided to remove the step difference between a light-guiding plate and an LED(Light Emitting Diodes) by improving the shape of the light-guiding plate, thereby improving the light leakage and enhancing the brightness. A light source unit includes a flexible PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(200), and point light sources(100) disposed on a rear surface of the flexible PCB to generate light. A light-guiding plate(300) is disposed at one side of the point light sources to guide the light from the point light sources. The light-guiding plate includes a body part, and a substrate guide light-guiding part(310) extended from the body part. The substrate guide light-guiding part covers and fixes the flexible PCB.
