A method for manufacturing timber for materials and timber for materials produced by the same are provided to remove organic matter such as tannin within a short time and to add materials having the function corresponding to the organic matter, to the timber. A method for manufacturing timber for materials comprises the steps of: removing barks of the timber; cutting the timber into lumber and drying the lumber; dipping the dried timber in silicate aqueous solution prepared by dissolving water-soluble silicate at the concentration of 8~14pH; and drying the timber impregnated with the silicate aqueous solution. The timber that barks are separated is dried by heating the timber in a closed drying compartment at 60~70°C for 4~5 days. And then, the timber is naturally dried for 5~6 days by opening the drying compartment and dried for 7~8 days by forcibly circulating the internal air of the drying compartment. The timber is dipped in the aqueous solution of 20~35°C for 8~12 days and dried for 5 days in an opened natural drying rack while avoiding a direct ray of light. And, the timber is dipped in the aqueous solution of 20~35°C for 5 days and dried for 20~30 days in the opened natural drying rack while avoiding a direct ray of light. |
