<p>The device has a spiral conveyor (2) arranged horizontally for conveying a press body e.g. pellet (1). A carburetor zone is operated in a counter flow principle and lies within a carburetor chamber (3). A carbonization zone is connected to the carburetor zone. The conveyor includes a heating device, where the carbonization zone lies within the conveyor. The carburetor chamber is coupled to a supply hole (8) with the conveyor. A generator gas burner (4) includes a nozzle and an air supply device that is arranged at the nozzle. An independent claim is also included for a method for thermal conversion of pellets or wood chippings.</p> |
