The blade has a leading edge (120) with a front surface (105), and an erosion shield (140), which is arranged outside of the front surface. An electrical connection (155) is provided from the erosion shield to a lightening arrester path (160). A heating unit (145) is arranged proximate of the shield and the front surface. A heat conducting path is provided from the heating unit to the erosion shield, and a connecting unit (175) is provided for connecting the heating unit with an energy source in the blade. The shield has a two-piece layer consisting of a polymer layer and a metal layer. |
