The system has a driving cab (20) with a radio frequency identification (RFID) transponder (20A) arranged on any wall of the cab, and containers (22, 24) with two RFID transponders (22A, 24A). The transponders are respectively arranged on any wall of a loading case and on each delivery door of the loading case. Each transponder co-operates with a RFID interrogator/reader (12A) integrated in a mobile telephone (12) of a vehicle driver, where the telephone is in connection with a management server through a mobile communication network (16) e.g. wireless fidelitynetwork. An independent claim is also included for a method for monitoring goods loaded in a delivery vehicle.
