An ink-jet print apparatus and an ink-jet print head are provided to be capable of operating in multi-mode in accordance with resolution and quality of print by performing high-quality single pass printing. An ink-jet print apparatus includes a print head structure(160) and ink drop generators(165). The ink drop generators are coupled to an ink supply(115), is formed on the print head structure, and are arranged on three or more axes in parallel with one another. The ink-jet print apparatus has multiple print modes such as a one-pass and both-direction print mode and a two-pass and one-direction print mode. The one-pass and both-direction print mode has a first velocity and a first quality. The two-pass and one-direction print mode has a second velocity slower than the first velocity and a second quality higher than the first quality.
