A device for controlling power of a terminal, a method for displaying a termination state of the terminal, the method for operating the terminal, and a power control method thereof are provided to determine operating a system based on the other cut-off voltage level according to the displayed termination mode by displaying the previous termination mode of the system. A power controller(30) controls power supplied to a terminal from a battery(10). A memory(60) stores a cut-off voltage level for terminating a system when a voltage level of the battery is lower than a predetermined level. The power controller sets up a flag when the system is terminated by a cut-off mode. The memory stores first and second cut-off voltage levels. The power controller determines power supply by using the second cut-off voltage level if the flat is set when the system is operated. The second cut-off voltage level is the battery voltage level in a state operating only the CPU(40) when the battery representing the first cut-off voltage level is mounted in a system operation state. The power controller sets the cut-off voltage level to the battery voltage level for operation when the system is terminated by the cut-off mode in a predetermined time after system operation.
