A method for opening and closing an electromotive shutter for light regulation and crime prevention for a window is provided to operate an electromotive shutter opening and closing device for shading at need, protecting a window from external pressure such as a typhoon, a trespasser, etc. and preventing trespass. A method for opening and closing an electromotive shutter for light regulation and crime prevention for a window comprises the steps of: sensing the horizontal or vertical location of a shading plate using a location sensor and detecting the signal; judging whether the shading plate is at the horizontal or vertical location; if the shading plate is horizontal, operating a driving motor(310) of a shading plate movement unit(300) and moving a wheel(110) abutting to a timing belt advanced along a caterpillar for changing the horizontal shading plate into the vertical location; after checking the shading plate to be located on the vertical line, controlling a driven roller for excluding the interference with the wheel; releasing the wheel contacted with the timing belt of the shading plate movement unit; and ascending the shading plate of a shading unit and the wheel using a shading plate rolling unit and entering, winding round a housing case(230) of the shading plate rolling unit. |
