<p>The chromate free corrosion resistant coating for a fastener contains corrosion inhibiting inorganic constituents, or a combination of inorganic and organic corrosion inhibiting constituents, suspended in a phenol-formaldehyde thermosetting resin. The coating material possesses high abrasion resistance, and provides good lubricity and relatively low friction, rendering it especially suited for use with interference-fit fasteners.</p> |
