<p>The invention relates to an automatic clamp which a high voltage short-circuiter is equipped with, used for temporarily short-circuiting and grounding open lines, in order to protect the staff against accidental occurrence of dangerous voltage. According to the invention, the clamp consists of a body (1) provided with a vertical channel (n), wherein there is mounted an oscillating arm (9) around an axle (10) on which there is located a twist spring (11), inside a pocket (p) of the arm (9), under the action of which a roll (13) located on a lower end (s) of the arm (9) blocks a can (7) which is in the lowest position, and an extreme part (w) of the arm (9) which is in contact with a protuberance (v), at a 90A angle, of a releasing lever (15), determines some extremities (y) of the lever (15) to take a position inside a semicircular pocket (l) of a higher part (a) of the body (1) and which, when hanging the body (1) on a conductor (18), the releasing rod (15), pushed by a conductor (18), actuates by means of an arm (9) on the roll (13) which deblocks the can (7) and allows clamping the conductor (18) with the can (7), by the simultaneous action of two compression springs (6 and 17), interior and exterior, respectively, in relation to a screw (4) provided with a square thread along the entire length.</p> |
