A curing composition, a color filter prepared by using the composition, and a method for preparing the color filter are provided to improve coating property, sensitivity, resolution, pattern shape and the adhesion to a substrate and to widen the latitude in case of development. A curing composition comprises a colorant; a photopolymerization initiator; an alkali-soluble resin; and a multifunctional monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond, wherein the photopolymerization initiator comprises a non-imidazole compound, a mercapto compound, ant at least one compound selected from an aminobenzene derivative, an alkoxybenzene derivative, a thioxanthone derivative and a coumarin derivative; and the multifunctional monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond contains a hydroxyl group and has a double bond density of 09.6-11.5 mmol/g per 1 g of the multifunctional monomer. |
