A device for collecting a soil sample and a system therewith are provided to increase utility range thereof by collecting the soil sample at various place with a length control rod. A device for collecting a soil sample includes a body(20), a length control rod(40), and a rotary rod(45). The body contains a sample storage with an opening formed on the sample storage and includes a core main body(21) and a screw(23). The core main body includes the sample storage. The screw rotates the core main body to insert into the ground for collecting the soil sample. The length control rod is connected with the body and has a rod coupling unit. The rotary rod is connected with the length control rod and includes a rotary handle rotating the body.
