A herbicide composition containing as the active ingredients both an ester of 2-[2-chloro-4-fluoro-5-{3-methyl-2,6-dioxo-4-(trifluoromethyl)-1,2,3,6- tetrahydropyrimidin-1-yl}phenoxy]propionic acid, and glyphosate or a salt thereof; and a method for weeding by applying the composition to weeds. This composition is synergistically enhanced in the herbicidal effect as compared with the cases wherein the above active ingredients are used each alone, and therefore can kill various weeds effectively.
