A plasma display panel is provided to enlarge an application area of a fluorescent layer by dividing one discharge space into plural discharge spaces using auxiliary barrier ribs. A plasma display panel includes two substrates(201,202), discharge electrodes(204,205), a barrier rib(214), and plural fluorescent layers(217). The substrates are opposed to each other. The discharge electrodes are arranged between the substrates. The barrier rib is arranged between the substrates and defines discharge cells. The fluorescent layer is applied on the discharge cell. One discharge space of the discharge cell is divided into at least two discharge spaces. The divided discharge space is partitioned by an auxiliary barrier rib, which is arranged in one of the discharge space.
