The invention concerns a device comprising two air distribution chambers (1, 3) designed to be fixed on the cylinder head and an air distributor (19) and/or an air transfer pipe (53), the latter and the air distribution chambers comprising, in the immediate surroundings of their nozzles, for being relatively positioned and assembled together: between the air distributor (19) and one (3) of the air distribution chambers, means (17, 27, 37) for positioning and supporting for support and precise relative centering, substantially without clearance, except for possible pivoting about the axis of engagement (30), once said centering has been provided along said axis, and, between said air distributor and the other air distribution chamber (1): additional support means (29) and locating means (31). Fixing means (33) lock, at the required swivel angle and in relative support, each air distribution chamber (1, 3) and the air distributor (19).
