A crankless reciprocating engine is provided to introduce a fluid into two piston receiving chambers by rotating a valve having a fluid passage in one direction so that the loss of inertial energy is reduced. A crankless reciprocating engine includes a gear part(100), a cylinder part(200), a valve part(300), a manifold part(400), and a power delivery part(500). The gear part is provided at the most lower portion of the engine. The cylinder part, the valve part, and the manifold part are provided above the gear part. The gear part changes reciprocation of four pistons(221,222) into rotational motion of a driving shaft(151). The gear part includes a frame plate(102), a lower plate(101), and side plates(103,104) which form the outer portion of the gear part. The gear part includes racks(111-114), pinions(121-126), a driving shaft(151), bearing parts, and guide rollers.
