An apparatus for cleaning a surface of a square pipe is provided to continuously clean the square pipe by using a rotating brush at a high speed and air sprayed at a high pressure. An apparatus for cleaning a surface of a square pipe comprises a brush part, an air supply hose and an air drying part. The brush part includes a drive shaft(20) installed at a case(10) and a pair of rotation shaft(30) disposed vertically to the drive shaft. The rotation shaft is supported by a shaft mounting bearing(301) installed in the case. A rotation brush(302) is formed at an outer end of the rotation shaft. A driven gear(303) is formed at an inner end of the rotation shaft. The drive gear and the driven gear are engaged with each other at an outer circumference of the drive shaft.
