A turning type sluice gate is provided to make a sluice gate body adhered closely to the riverbed by preventing vortex phenomenon on the bottom of a sluice gate body when contained water is discharged over a sluice gate body and preventing impurities from getting caught in the bottom of a sluice gate body. A turning type sluice gate comprises a sluice gate body(10) formed in the type of a plate and installed to be movable by a hinge to open or close a river and provided with a guide rail(11) to guide the sliding of an impurity cutoff and support member, a driving cylinder(20) operating the sluice gate body by an impurity cutoff and support member, and an impurity cutoff and support member(30) preventing water flowing over the sluice gate body from flowing to the base of the sluice gate body and guiding the water flowing over the sluice gate body to detour the bottom of the sluice gate body and to flow out to the lower reaches of a river. |
