There are provided a bio-sensor chip measuring device and a measuring method capable of obtaining an accurate measurement result in a short time by using a minute quantity of sample. The bio-sensor measuring device (20) includes a power source (21). The power source (21) is connected to a voltmeter (22), a measurement device (23), and a controller (24) for supplying power. When a bio-sensor chip (1) is connected to the bio-sensor measuring device (20) and voltage is applied, the measurement device starts to measure the current value of the bio-sensor. When the measured current value or the measured charge value is greater than a reference value, the measurement is terminated by an instruction from the controller (24). When the measured current value or the measured charge value is smaller than the reference value, the measurement is continued by an instruction from the controller.
