A rotating disk is provided to improve introduction and ejection properties of a chain or a synchronous belt by reducing a vibration of an end portion of the chain and the synchronous belt. Teeth(20) are arranged on a periphery of a rotating disk and rotated at one rotating angle around a rotation axis. A tooth groove(22) is formed between the teeth. A tooth groove center line(30) is elongated through a center of the tooth groove. The rotating disk includes a periodically changing tooth groove geometry. An end-circle radius(24) of the rotating disk is maintained at a constant value. A reference-circle radius(26) of the rotating disk functionally corresponds to the rotation angle and a specific center radius.
