A feature value extraction algorism creating device (20) comprises a low-level feature value extraction formula list making section (21) for makingn low-level feature value extraction formula lists containing m low-level feature value extraction formulae, a low-level feature value computing section (24) for determining n sets of m kinds of low-level feature values corresponding to the respective items of input data by substituting the input data on j musical compositions into the n low-level feature value extraction lists, and high-level feature value extraction formula learning section (25) for estimating a high-level feature value extraction formula by learning from teacher data (k items of high-level feature values corresponding to the respective j musical compositions) corresponding to the n sets of low-level feature value outputs. The invention is applicable to a system for acquiring a high-level feature value of a musical composition or a video. |
