CONTROL IC OF INVERTER THAT IS VARIABLE DRIVING FREQUENCY TO DRIVE LAMPS

A control IC(Integrated Circuit) of an inverter varying a driving frequency to drive lamps is provided to share the inverter by changing the driving frequency in change of a resonance point due to different parasitic capacitance by panels. A control IC(200) of an inverter includes a lamp sensing unit(201) and a frequency varying unit(202). The lamp sensing unit is connected to an OLP(Open Lamp Protection) terminal and a plurality of lamps(210a-210d). The OLP terminal senses an error of the lamps. The lamp sensing unit reduces a voltage of the OLP terminal when at least one of the lamps is not lighted. The frequency varying unit is connected to an ERO terminal and an RT and increases a current flowing in the RT by being conducted when a voltage of the ERO terminal is higher than a predetermined reference voltage. The voltage of the ERO terminal is increased in an error of at least one of the lamps. The RT changes a driving frequency for driving the lamps.
