A rod for detecting a water vein is provided to prevent artificial operation of indication rods due to movement of a wrist by restricting the movement of the wrist with a connecting rod installed at middle parts of handles. A rod(A) for detecting a water vein includes a pair of handles(20) and a connecting rod(30). The handles are opposite to each other at a regular interval. The connecting rod is installed at middle parts of the handles. The handles have fixing units(31) formed in a short circular tube shape. Threads are formed at the fixing units to be coupled with ends of the connecting rod. The connecting rod has coupling units(32) at both ends thereof. Threads engaging to the threads of the fixing unit are formed on an inner circumference of the coupling unit.
