A lignite boiler is provided to overcome combustion trouble by shaking a grate leftwards and rightwards to drop ashes, to enable the replacement of a worn grate support pin, to control the combustion condition in a combustion chamber by adjusting a discharge hole of an exhaust pipe using an exhaust-gas adjusting plate, and to increase efficiency of the boiler by increasing a heat exchange time. A lignite boiler includes a grate(2) installed at the lower position of a combustion chamber(1). A fire-proof clay pipe(3) is installed in the combustion chamber, a fuel tank(4) is mounted at a center on the upper portion of the combustion chamber, a water tank(5) is provided around the fuel tank, a plurality of exhaust pipes(6) is installed in the water tank, and an exhaust-gas holding space(7) and a smoke venting pipe(8) are defined above the exhaust pipes. A plurality of support pipes(11) is fused to the circumference of a tubular body(10) protruding downwards from the combustion chamber. A grate support pin(12) is fitted into each support pipe and is tightened by a tightening screw(13). A support(2a) seated on the grate support pin is coupled to a support shaft(24a) of a cam(24) which is connected to one end of a link(21) via a pin(22), the other end of the link being provided on a shaft(23a) of a DC motor(23). Thus, the grate is shaken leftwards and rightwards by the DC motor. An exhaust-gas adjusting plate(30) having a discharge hole(30a) is provided above the exhaust pipes and is fitted over the fuel tank. A pin(31) is provided in the discharge hole to adjust the size of an exhaust hole of each exhaust pipe. A support step(40) is provided at a position above the exhaust-gas adjusting plate. An exhaust-gas holding plate(41) is disposed on the support step, and an exhaust-gas guide plate(43) is provided on the top of the fuel tank so that exhaust gas is discharged from the exhaust-gas holding space through the smoke venting pipe.
