A spindle motor is provided to reduce manufacture tolerance between a bearing holder and a plate by manufacturing the bearing holder and the plate through a predetermined press process at once. A plate(120) is integrated with a bearing holder(130) for holding a bearing(140) inside. The bearing is fixedly pressed and installed inside the bearing holder and rotatably supports a rotation axis(180). A support cover(150) is fixedly installed on the plate and supports the rotation axis in an axial direction. An oil leakage preventing member(160) prevents lubricating oil in the bearing from leaking to the outside by blocking a gap between the plate and the support cover.
