A display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce crosstalk thereof by maintaining the magnitude of leakage currents of pixels constantly. A display apparatus includes an illumination element(LD), a driving transistor(Qd), a switching transistor(Qs), a storage capacitor(Cst), and data and gate lines(Dj,Gi). The driving transistor connected to the illumination element generates a current according to a data voltage. The switching transistor switches the data voltage according to a gate signal. The storage capacitor stores the data voltage. The data line connected to the switching transistor transfers the data voltage. The gate line connected to the switching transistor transfers the gate signal. The data voltage includes a first voltage corresponding to luminance information and a second voltage formed by compensating for the first data voltage.
