The invention relates to area of tribology, in particular to methods for measurement of wear at tribo-tests for materials and friction units. In the method of measurement of value of wear of elements of friction pair at tribo-tests that is in formation on wear elements of friction pair of artificial bases and determination of change of distances from those artificial bases to worn working surfaces before and after tribo-tests according to the invention artificial bases are arranged as equidistant with respect to worn working surfaces grooves that are applied to side surfaces of elements of friction pair, elements of direction pair at tribo-tests are placed in level with side surfaces with artificial bases, and change of distances between artificial bases and working surfaces is determined on profilograms plotted from imprints taken from place of contact of friction pair. Method of measurement of value of wear of elements of friction pair makes it possible to increase a lot accuracy and reliability of results of tribo-tests.
