#CMT# #/CMT# The apparatus (1) has a temporary water settling and storage container integrated with a reservoir (3) and around which a draining material (9) is distributed. The container has a connecting unit (39) that is arranged on an inlet zone (23) to channel water directly in the container and to temporarily store the water in the container. Diffusion units (29, 33) are arranged to filter water stored in the container and to diffuse the water in the material. The container has inspection units arranged between the reservoir and ground level to permit cleaning. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Apparatus for retaining water e.g. rain water, for use in government bodies and private grounds, and on sites by public work enterprises, during heavy rain or storm to avoid flooding of sites or public places. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The design of the apparatus permits to rapidly evacuate runoff water having mud, leaves and wastes, directly in the reservoir, thus avoiding flooding of the public path. The inspection units permit cleaning and extraction of settling mud of the water. The design of the inspection unit facilitates implementation and reduces installation cost with respect to the apparatus.
