A caliper of a disk brake for a vehicle and a manufacturing method of a caliper housing are provided to smoothly perform heat emission and to improve the reliability of braking operation by allowing a pad spring, which compresses an upper end portion of a pad plate downward, to be formed with a fin shape. A caliper of a disk brake for a vehicle comprises first and second pad plates(40a,40b) having a friction pad(42) attached to opposite sides of a disk, and first and second compression units installed on both sides of a caliper housing(10). The caliper housing includes a space portion(18) having a middle part thereof being opened to discharge heat to the exterior and to install the pad plates while allowing the disk to be inserted into the space. The space portion of the caliper housing is provided at an upper portion thereof with a connection member(50), which is bolted to connect the first and second compression units with each other.
