The assembly has a joint profile (1) placed on a framework or a chassis of an opening panel element e.g. window door (3), of a motor vehicle. Sections of an additional profile (9) are fixed on the joint profile. The joint profile includes a gripping element e.g. female hook element (17), arranged on a part of length of the joint profile to receive a complementary gripping element e.g. male hook element (11), of the section of the additional profile. The gripping element of the joint profile and the complementary gripping element of the additional profile are fixed together by clipping.
