The installation has a unit heater (6) and an evaporator (4) forming a part of an air-conditioning circuit. Right and left mixing flaps (8) adjust air flow crossing the heater. Left and right foot air conduits (14) direct air towards foot of a driver and front passenger, respectively. Left and right defrosting conduits (18) directs air towards left and right side of a windscreen of a motor vehicle. Flaps (20, 22, 24) are provided to close the conduits (14, 18) and right and left air vent conduits (16) and permits heating and cooling of place of a driver and occupied places.
