An information provider server device providing information services to a plurality of user terminals via a transfer device (GWS) operated for routed information transmission between the information provider server device (W) and the plurality of user terminals (MS) is adapted to pre-register at the transfer device (GWS). In particular, the information provider server device (W) forwards information specifying the information provider server device as information resource to the transfer device (GWS) for registration of the information provider server device (W) at the transfer device (GWS). This allows for subsequent use of services provided by the transfer device when a user terminal (MS) requests information services from the information provider server device (W).
