A method for treating pneumonia in the children comprises the courses of antibiotics, the expectorants, and the physiotherapy. The choice of antibiotics depends on the previous antibacterial treatment within the previous four weeks. When previously the child did not receive antibiotics within the recent four weeks, the treatment starts from macrolids, the protected penicillins or cephalosporins of the second generation. When the patients have already received antibacterial treatment, cephalosporins of the third generation are initiated. |
