The invention relates to dismantling damaged installations, in particular to method for dismantling damaged part of installation (10) that adjoins not damaged section of industrial installation 28). The method includes covering of damaged section (10) with shelter object (30) that adjoins it practically hermetically, with deactivation of damaged part (10) through access to it through not damaged part (28) with use of protective properties of not damaged part (28) for treatment of dangerous substances extracted from damaged part (10). The invention can be used at dismantling Chornobyl nuclear power plant.
