An MFP(Multi-Function Printer) and a device information management method thereof are provided to easily access and control a device connected to the MFP by providing device information classified according to a classification rule. A device interface(120) is connected to a device. A memory(111) stores device information. A controller(110) controls operation for classifying the information of the connected devices according to a classification rule, and storing the classified device information to the memory or displaying the classified device information to a display unit(130). The device interface includes more than one of a USB(Universal Serial Bus) port, a slot, and a USB hub. The controller applies at least one of a class, a maker, a function, and a characteristic as the classification rule. The class includes a USB stick, a digital camera, and a memory stick. The controller provides the device information to the display unit according to the classification rule corresponding to a request of a user.
