A material-P is provided to promote protection and regeneration of marrow cells and hematopoietic stem cells by stimulating proliferation of mesenchymal stem cells in bone marrow, thereby being used for a composition for preventing and treating bone marrow damage effectively or an anti-cancer supplemental agent for chemotherapy. A composition for preventing and treating bone marrow damage comprises a material-P, wherein the bone marrow damage is caused by radiation, administration of an anti-cancer agent or wound. The composition further comprises mesenchymal stem cells. An anti-cancer supplemental agent comprises the material-P as an effective ingredient.
