PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe hair-growing agent exhibiting excellent hair-growing effects. SOLUTION: The oral hair-growing agent contains (A) a hydrolyzed peptide of a protein originated from seaweed, and (B) a polysaccharide and/or (C) an energy metabolism-accelerating component. The polysaccharide (B) is preferably originated from the seaweed, and the energy metabolism-accelerating component (C) is a component selected from a fatty acid having a carbon chain with an odd number of carbons and a derivative thereof, coenzyme Q10, L-carnitine and a derivative thereof, creatine and a derivative thereof, an extract of a plant belonging to the genus Coleus, and vitamins.
