PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jasmonic acid derivative showing an herbicidal effect and/or herbicidal effect-reinforcing effect. SOLUTION: This new jasmonic acid derivatives expressed by formula (I) [wherein, R1is an alkyl or an alkenyl; Q is any of the above (Q-1) to (Q-3); R2, R3, R6and R7are each H, an alkyl or the like; R4, R5are each H, an alkyl or the like; R8is an alkyl or a haloalkyl; R9is an alkyl or a haloalkyl; X is O or S; and R10is an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an alkenyl, an alkynyl, an alkoxy, an alkoxyalkyl or a haloalkoxy] and their salts, and use of them as the herbicide and/or the herbicidal effect-reinforcing agent are provided.
