PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breaking control device for a vehicle having a drive-state mode to be a directly-connected four-wheel-drive-state, including a vehicle equipped with a center differential, which device can control breaking to stabilize vehicle behavior even when the vehicle is in the directly-connected four-wheel-drive-state. SOLUTION: The breaking control device 80 for controlling breaking to stabilize the vehicle behavior is provided with a drive-state switching means 60 for switching the drive state of the vehicle, a slip-state detecting means 10 for detecting a slip state of the vehicle, and a breaking-control permission determining means 30 for determining an activating permission of the breaking control. Upon switching the vehicle to the directly-connected four-wheel-drive-state by the drive-state switching means, the breaking control permission determining means permits the activation of the breaking control when the slip state detected by the slip-state detecting means exceeds a predetermined slip state.
