PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant, a surface coating agent, an adhesive, a molded body and an elastic body which demonstrate a deodorizing action even in a dark place or under week light. SOLUTION: The deodorant, the surface coating agent, the adhesive, the molded body and the elastic body, containing powdered ores which release electromagnetic waves for decomposing odor components, are provided. Especially, carbon and strontium are contained. Then, in the deodorant relating to this invention, since the powdered ores which release the electromagnetic waves for decomposing the odor components are contained, the deodorizing action is demonstrated even in a dark place not irradiated with light or under the week irradiation light. Especially, when the carbon and the strontium are contained, the deodorizing action is improved. Since the deodorant does not need the light irradiation, it can demonstrate the deodorizing action even when contained in the surface coating agent, the adhesive, the molded body and the elastic body.
