With regard to a tractor having a high-powered engine, universal joints must be enlarged, whereby the attachment work of a power transmission shaft becomes difficult. Furthermore, the kind of the universal joints to be used is limited, thereby being inconvenient. A tractor is constructed so that a transmission casing 23 is arranged in a rear portion of a vehicle body, a front axle casing 25 is arranged in the front portion of the vehicle body, and power from an engine 3 is transmitted from an output shaft 86 supported by the transmission casing 23 through a power transmission shaft 97 to an input shaft 101 supported by the front axle casing 25. The tractor is characterized in that a gear casing 90 is disposed between the transmission casing 23 and the front axle casing 25, the output shaft 86 of the transmission casing 23 and an input shaft 91 of the gear casing 90 are arranged on a same line and connected to each other, and the input shaft 101 of the front axle casing 25 and an output shaft 95 of the gear casing 90 are arranged on a same line and connected to each other.
