The system has an exhaust air guiding system (32), which exhausts exhaust air (LA) from areas (12, 14) to be heated by heating air, where the guiding system has an intercepting sewer area (34), in which exhaust air streams of the areas are brought together in a common-exhaust gas stream (LG). An exhaust air temperature sensor arrangement (38) detects the temperature of the gas stream flowing in the stream (LG). A control device (40) controls a heating device (16) based on the temperature of the gas stream (LG) and a predetermined target temperature.
