TREATMENT METHOD FOR EXHAUST GAS CONTAINING SULFUR OXIDE AND ITS APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for an exhaust gas containing a sulfur oxide which makes the mist diameter of a sulfuric-acid mist contained in the exhaust gas greater to increase the capturing efficiency.

SOLUTION: The exhaust-gas treatment method introduces the exhaust gas to a dry-type electric dust collector 130 to remove a dust and thereafter introduces the exhaust gas to a wet-type desufurization apparatus 140 to desulfurize, wherein the temperature and the flow rate of the exhaust gas in the lower flow side of a bypass pipe 10 for gradually cooling the exhaust gas of a flue 170a between the dry-type electric dust collector and the wet-type desulfurization apparatus are measured, the exhaust gas is gradually cooled by the bypass pipe 10 so that the temperature of the exhaust gas reaches the acid dew point, and therefore the sulfuric mist contained in the exhaust gas is captured.
