<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid driving vehicle for increasing reliability of a control operation in a shift operation from a gear ratio under selection to a gear ratio larger than the gear ratio, and a vehicle equipped with this hybrid driving device. <P>SOLUTION: When the number of revolutions MRN2 of an MG2 is increased to a predetermined rate (for example, 95%) with respect to low speed stage number of revolutions NLG, the increase rate of the number of revolutions of the MG2 at that point of time (ΔMRN2/Δt) is acquired (step S16). Also, excess quantity α with respect to the low speed stage number of revolutions NLG of the maximum value of the number of revolutions MRN2 of the MG2 produced until engagement is decided (step S18).
