PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproducing apparatus automatically inserting a recording medium again when the recording medium is ejected by an erroneous operation. SOLUTION: If a remote control operation receiving means receives an instruction to eject a recording medium, a conveyance roller 13 ejects the recording medium 200 from an insertion opening. A sensor board 11 outputs an ejection signal when detecting ejection of the recording medium 200. At this time, if a control board 12 receives an instruction to insert the recording medium 200 in while the ejection signal is output from the sensor board 11, the conveyance roller 13 draws again the recording medium 200 into the video reproducing apparatus 10.
