PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remotely controllable home network system and its method for making different devices successively complete the operations anytime, and for, when there is another service in one home electric appliance in a home network, notifying the first home electric appliance of the result through a message. SOLUTION: In this remotely controllable home network system and its method, a first home electric appliance 1 in a home network includes: a first processing unit 10; a first memory unit 16; a first display unit 14; and a first network unit 12, and the first memory unit 16 stores the operating state data of the first home electric appliance 1. After execution items are selected on a second display unit in a second home electric appliance which has made an operation request, the operation of the first home electric appliance can be successively completed.
