PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine with a supercharger capable of improving drivability by improving acceleration feel, and improving fuel economy by securing a driving time in a non-supercharging region. SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine is provided with a throttle valve 6 for adjusting an intake air amount of the internal combustion engine 1 provided with the supercharger 4, an accelerator displacement detecting means 14 for detecting displacement of an accelerator pedal for operating the throttle valve 6, and a rotation detecting means 12 for detecting a rotation speed of the internal combustion engine. An openingθTPS of the throttle valve 6 is variably controlled in response to the rotation speed Ne detected by the rotation detecting means on the basis of displacementθAPS of the accelerator pedal detected by the accelerator displacement detecting means 14.
